ABOUT US

The Education Attache Unit in Canberra or EAUC was established in March 2007 and works closely with the Scholarship Department as well as the Office of the Permanent Secretary  for Higher Education in the Ministry of Education. Its operational base is the High Commission of Brunei Darussalam at 10, Beale Crescent, Deakin, Canberra. The Unit is managed by principal officers commissioned from the Ministry of Education.

Since its establishment, the unit has served as a platform to support Bruneian students studying in Australia and New Zealand. This support covers a wide range of areas, including academic affairs, welfare, safety and security as well as scholarship entitlements.

The EAUC also provides mentoring services to the Brunei Students in Australia Association (BSAA). It also renders support for the association and its activities.

As the representative of Brunei Darussalam’s Ministry of Education, EAUC has always been at the forefront of education cooperation with Australia and New Zealand. We have worked with more than 20 universities in Australia and New Zealand, looking after the affairs of our nationals and the interests of our country.
